Bright crimson in color, this Pinot Noir is very fragrant, with notes of rose petal, lavender, honeysuckle and lemon blossom mingling with sun-ripened berries and black licorice.  An undertone of root beer and spice balances the floral and fruit notes nicely.  On the palate, the fine-grained tannins are graceful, yet coating.  Notes of raspberries, cranberries, vanilla bean and dried tea mingle with sweet spice from oak aging. The finish lingers, with notes of spice and orange peel.
